SoCal self-storage facility changes hands

The Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial Self Storage Group facilitated the sale of the 55,000-square-foot StorQuest Self Storage in Murrieta, Calif.

The property, located at 24850 Las Brisas Road, sold for $7.2 million, and was 90 percent occupied at the time of sale.

StorQuest Self Storage, which operates in California, Arizona and Colorado, sold the property to San Diego-based Strauss Properties.

San Diego-based Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial is a privately held commercial real estate brokerage.
