Legg Mason buys SoCal office building

Investment fund advisors Legg Mason Real Estate Services has acquired a 72,479-square-foot office building in the Sorrento Mesa area of San Diego.

The value of the transaction was approximately $18.8 million.

The three-story, class A building is located on approximately 2.7 acres at 5505 Moorehouse Drive.

Colliers International represented both Legg Mason and the seller, L & B Realty Advisors Inc., in the transaction.

At the time of sale, the office building was 100 percent leased to a single tenant: Texas Instruments of San Diego Inc.
