Weichert grows brand in Appalachia, Mid-Atlantic

Weichert Real Estate Affiliates Inc., the franchise arm of Weichert, Realtors, today announced the addition of four new franchise offices in Virginia and the first franchise office in West Virginia.

The five new Weichert affiliates include: Weichert, Realtors – Baron & Snipes Co., Glen Allen, Va.; Weichert, Realtors – Four Oaks, Charlottesville, Va.; Weichert, Realtors – T.Y. Associates, Forest, Va.; Weichert, Realtors – The Walls Group, Newport News, Va.; and Weichert, Realtors – American Realty Inc., Martinsburg, W. Va.

Broker-owner Machelle Lewis opened Weichert's first West Virginia franchise, which has a team of 17 professional sales associates.

Since launching its first independently owned and operated affiliated office in January 2002, the Weichert franchise company has rapidly expanded to include more than 190 signed offices in 20 states. Weichert, which helps customers buy and sell both residential and commercial real estate, has more than 17,200 sales associates in more than 380 company-owned and franchised sales offices in key markets throughout the United States.
