Furnace manufacturer finds space for product distribution
Rheem Sales Co. leases portion of Georgia facility
By Inman News, Wednesday, February 1, 2006.New York-based Rheem Sales Co., an affiliate of Rheem Manufacturing Co., has leased 354,000 square feet at Duke Realty Corp.'s Liberty III building in McDonough, Ga.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
The space, located at 250 Declaration Drive, will be used for distribution of the company's heating and air conditioning equipment products.
When Rheem occupies Liberty III in the first quarter of 2006, the 759,300-square foot-industrial/distribution property will be more than 97 percent occupied.
Founded in 1880, the Rheem Manufacturing Co. produces warm air furnaces, air conditioning equipment, commercial and residential water heaters, residential and commercial boilers and pool and spa heaters. Headquartered in New York City, Rheem employs more than 6,500 employees across the country.
Duke Realty Corp. is a publicly traded office and industrial real estate owner and developer.
