San Diego industrial space fills up
Brokerage completes multi-year leases
By Inman News, Thursday, March 16, 2006.Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial helped facilitate five industrial lease transactions totaling 103,417 square feet in San Diego County, Calif.
The total value of the transactions was $6.8 million.
In Carlsbad, Interior Specialists inked a lease agreement for 8,965 square feet of industrial space located at 5803 Newston Drive. The lease term is 36 months, and the value of the transaction was $371,145. Carmel Oaks Properties LLC owns the space.
Also in Carlsbad, Safety Syringes Inc. leased 44,983 square feet of industrial space at 2875 Loker Ave. The value of the 60-month agreement was $2.6 million. Techbilt Construction Corp. is the property owner.
LG Philips LCD America Inc. signed a 35,875-square-foot lease agreement for industrial space located at 2791 Loker Ave., also in Carlsbad. The 60-month lease was valued at $1.7 million. LBA Industrial, Fund – Holding Co. II Inc. is the landlord.
In El Cajon, Calif., Target Corp., on behalf of H&R Retail, secured 10,027 square feet of industrial space with a 60-month lease. Owned by 1250 Marshall LP, the property is located at 1320 N. Marshall Ave. The value of the transaction was $458,160.
In San Diego, Comerica Bank inked a 3,567-square-foot retail lease at 412 E. Washington St. The 10-year lease was valued at $1.7 million. The property is owned by Burdette J. Goff Trust/B.J. Goff Jr. Marital Trust.
