Investor makes cross-country real estate purchase
Space occupied by home-improvement store
By Inman News, Friday, March 24, 2006.A San Diego-based investor recently purchased a 135,107-square-foot retail building in Charlotte, N.C., occupied by a home-improvement center.
The value of the transaction was $15.2 million.
Carolina Emerald purchased the property, which is located at 940 Concord Parkway on approximately 21 acres, from Dr. David Haskell.
In 1999, Lowe's Companies, Inc. signed a 20-year lease for the build-to-suit home improvement center.
San Diego-based Colliers International arranged the transaction.
