Amenities include miniature golf, dining
By Inman News, Tuesday, April 18, 2006.Grubb & Ellis Co. today announced the sale of a 9-acre retail/entertainment property in Santa Clarita, Calif., in a sale-leaseback transaction valued at $6.2 million.
Perricone Properties, a Los Angeles-based private investor, acquired the property, which is located at 21516 Golden Triangle Road.
Mountasia Family Fun Center occupied the property at the time of sale.
Mountasia of Santa Clarita sold the 9 acres of land under the fun center to the buyer and then leased it back under a long-term, 25-year, triple-net ground lease. The entertainment complex features LazerDome Lazer Tag, a 20-foot rock climbing wall, a video and redemption arcade, two 18-hole miniature golf courses, Go Kart rides, bumper boat rides, batting cages and Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour and Restaurant.
