Madison Warehouse fills space near Chicago
Inks lease for 10th facility nationwide
By Inman News, Monday, June 19, 2006.Grubb & Ellis Co. on Wednesday announced that Madison Warehouse Corp. inked a lease agreement for 393,095 square feet of industrial space in Joliet, Ill.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
The property, located at 4100 Rock Creek Blvd., is one of three separate buildings in the Rock Run Business Park owned by Itasca, Ill.-based Industrial Developments International. It features 32-foot clear ceilings, 41 docks, 3,000 square feet of office space, and a full sprinkler system.
Madison Warehouse Corp., which specializes in supply-line management, stocking level coordination, product reconfiguration, pick and pack, just-in-time order fulfillment and transportation services, expanded to this location because of its proximity to major highways, according to a press statement. With this lease the company now occupies 10 facilities nationwide, with more than 1 million square feet in the Chicago area and more than 3 million square feet overall nationally.
