HomePages to provide real estate content to local TV stations
Home-buying and selling tools available to 80 Web sites
By Inman News, Tuesday, July 11, 2006.HouseValues' HomePages.com real estate service will provide exclusive real estate content to WorldNow's national network of local television Web sites, the companies announced today.
WorldNow and HouseValues inked a partnership to provide users of local news Web sites across the country with access to home listings, neighborhood real estate information and a home-valuation service.
HomePages.com will provide content and listings to more than 80 local television Web sites in leading markets from coast to coast, including: New York (WABC-TV), Chicago (WLS-TV), Philadelphia (WPVI-TV), and Miami (WSVN-TV).
Launched in late 2005, HomePages combines home-finding tools and related detailed information about buying and selling homes. HouseValues Inc. provides marketing and lead generation services to the real estate and mortgage industries.
"Every TV station in the country is looking for a creative way to incorporate local real estate listings into its online business model," said Gary Gannaway, president and CEO of WorldNow, which helps local media companies build new businesses on the Internet.
