Real estate foreclosure listings site rolls out LAVA
New technology allows agents to share company's database
By Inman News, Wednesday, July 26, 2006.Foreclosure.com, which provides online information about foreclosure and other types of properties, today announced a new listing technology that allows real estate professionals to host the site's database on their own Web sites.
The technology, called LAVA, "provides real estate professionals with the ability to offer ... access to more than 1.2 million listings from the Foreclosure.com database on their own Web sites while generating ... leads," according to the company announcement.
"Virtually overnight, real estate professionals can exponentially increase their inventory of listings," said Brad Geisen, president and CEO of Foreclosure.com," and they can generate leads from consumers who visit the listings at their sites.
Foreclosure.com maintains a database of pre-foreclosure, foreclosure, bankruptcy, for-sale-by-owner and tax lien property listings.
Real estate professionals who partner with Foreclosure.com for the new service can receive state maps and county-specific search results from the company.
