Chicago mid-rise sells for nearly $30M

Marcus & Millichap recently arranged the sale of a 156,718-square-foot, multitenant office building in downtown Chicago.

The value of the transaction was $29.9 million.

The property, 19 S. LaSalle St., is a 16-story building that includes 19,562 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

An unidentified entity sold the property to 19 South LaSalle Street LLC. At the time of sale, the property was 93 percent occupied by a large number of smaller tenants.

Encino, Calif.-based Marcus & Millichap is a commercial real estate brokerage operating nationwide.
