Ten-building Texas portfolio changes hands
Investor grows San Antonio holdings
By Inman News, Tuesday, August 8, 2006.Transwestern's San Antonio office recently brokered the disposition of a 235,766-square-foot office/flex portfolio in San Antonio, Texas.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
Ramsey Loop Realty L.P. sold the properties, which include 300 Ramsey Place, a 65,313-square-foot, three-building office/flex complex, and West Loop II, a 170,453-square-foot, seven-building office/flex complex located at 5407-5419 Bandera Road. The portfolio was constructed in the mid-1980s in a tilt wall design. At the time of sale, the buildings were approximately 84 percent occupied.
Richland Investments Inc., a Houston-based private investment firm, acquired these assets, adding to its existing San Antonio portfolio. Richland owns two other office/flex projects and a retail center in the local market.
