Arkansas industrial building snags buyer
Forrest City property changes hands in $1.8 million deal
By Inman News, Tuesday, September 12, 2006.An industrial property in Forrest City, Ark., has been sold for $1.8 million.
The 256,700-square-foot building is situated on 37 acres located at 3105 N. Washington in Forrest City.
The one-story building previously was used for manufacturing and assembling hoists for the automotive and marine industries. It features block and metal walls; 6-ince reinforced concrete floors; ceiling heights to 17 feet; 100 percent sprinkler system; all utilities; 35,800 square feet of modern office space; air compressors; and multiple dock-high and grade-level doors.
Philadelphia-based Binswanger represented the seller, Columbus McKinnon, an Amherst, N.Y.-based designer and manufacturer of material handling products.
The buyer, Lindsey Cotton Manufacturing LLC, is a private investor.
