Developer sheds class A office park
Deal includes 200,000-plus square feet
By Inman News, Tuesday, September 19, 2006.Grubb & Ellis/West Shell Commercial arranged the sale of The Acropolis at Fairfield Commons, a seven-building office portfolio in Beavercreek, Ohio.
The value of the transaction was $34 million.
Greenville, S.C.-based TIC Properties purchased the class A portfolio, which comprises more than 204,900 square feet.
Mills Morgan Development agreed to sell a portion of The Acropolis portfolio to provide additional capital for planned expansion of its core business in the region. Spectral Systems, General Dynamics, The Riverside Research Institute and Executive Suites Plus are a few of the companies that occupied space at the time of sale.
Cincinnati, Ohio-based Grubb & Ellis/West Shell Commercial provides services in Greater Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky.
