Investor adds space in growing Texas market

Transwestern brokered the sale of Fountainhead One, a 174,108-square-foot office building in San Antonio, Texas.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

Fountainhead One is a class A, multitenant property located at 8200 IH-10 West. Built in 1985 and refurbished with a new roof and penthouse in 2003, the 10-story facility was 95 percent occupied at the time of closing.

American Realty Advisors sold the property to KBS Realty Advisors.

Major tenants at the time of sale included New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, The University of Phoenix, and Health Care Service Corp. (Blue Cross/Blue Shield).

Transwestern is a privately held commercial real estate firm operating nationwide.
