Bascom makes Spanish Village purchase

Transwestern represented Bascom Group in the purchase of Spanish Village Apartments in Dallas, Texas, for an undisclosed price.

The 272-unit property is located near the intersection of Coit and Arapaho streets.

"This off-market transaction was sourced as part of a targeted acquisition strategy formulated between The Bascom Group and Transwestern," said Transwestern Vice President Armand Charbonneau. "Spanish Village has a unique product mix including 52 duplex units that can be spun off to enhance investment returns. ... Bascom will be able to create marketing improvements to immediately improve rental rates and add value."

Transwestern provides commercial real estate services nationwide.
