The Hawthorne at Gillette Ridge, a 246-unit luxury apartment community in Bloomfield, Conn., has been sold for $52.5 million.

The property, located at Two Francis Way, was built in 2004 as part of the master-planned development within the corporate campus setting of CIGNA Corp., which features a mix of residential, retail and office space.

The apartment community features 19 unique floor plans within 10 three-story buildings.

CIGNA Realty Investors and The Bozzuto Group sold the asset to Fairfield Residential LLC, who purchased the asset on behalf of an overseas pension fund.
