KBS takes Mid America Plaza

KBS Realty Advisors added 407,263 square feet of office space to its portfolio with the recent acquisition of Mid America Plaza I and II in Oak Brook, Ill.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

The property consists of two class A+ office buildings comprising 10 stories each. The purchase boosts KBS Realty Advisors' regional Chicago-based portfolio to approximately 2.2 million square feet.

RREEF sold the property, which is located at the intersection of Route 83 and 22nd Street.
