New tenants fill up Meadowlands center
More than 142,000 square feet of leases recently signed
By Inman News, Wednesday, March 28, 2007.Two new long-term leases have brought Meadowlands Distribution Center in Carlstadt, N.J., to 100 percent occupancy.
The total value of the transactions was not disclosed.
Stone Source, a high-end stone and tile supplier, leased 89,000 square feet and will relocate three Brooklyn facilities to Carlstadt in a consolidation move. The space will serve as a showroom, fabrication and distribution operation for the Manhattan-based company.
Crestron Electronics, headquartered in Rockleigh, N.J., has leased 53,500 square feet and will house a new distribution facility at the property. The firm manufactures audio, video and computer components.
Owned by RREEF, the 350,000-square-foot distribution facility is located at 350 Starke Road. Other tenants at Meadowlands Distribution Center include MediMedia USA and BDI Laguna.
