Parkside Square deal completed
Site expansion will add 20,000 square feet
By Inman News, Thursday, March 8, 2007.Midland Atlantic Investment recently acquired Parkside Square, a 166,000-square-foot retail center in Ocean Springs, Miss.
Neither the value of the transaction nor the seller's identity was disclosed.
The center, located at Highway 90 and Ocean Springs Road, was anchored by grocer Sav-A-Center at the time of purchase, totaling 78 percent occupancy. Additional tenants included Aaron's Rents, Subway and H&R Block.
Plans are underway to develop two retail outparcels on the site -- one that will accommodate a 15,000-square-foot user, and one that will accommodate up to 5,000 square feet of additional retail space
Midland Atlantic, a full-service real estate developer and broker primarily serving the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions of the country, owns more than 3 million square feet of retail space.
