University Shopping Center sold
Site located near Texas A&M
By Inman News, Thursday, April 12, 2007.University Shopping Center in College Station, Texas, recently sold to a Houston-based investment company for an undisclosed price.
Tenant-in-common investors sold the property, which comprises approximately 170,000 square feet of retail space, to Principle Equity Management LP.
Built in 2002, the property at closing was 100 percent occupied by multiple tenants that included Ross Dress-For-Less, PETCO, Goody's, Hobby Lobby and Shoe Carnival. The center caters to the 46,000 students that attend Texas A&M University, which lies just a quarter mile away.
The TIC investors originally purchased the property in September 2002.
