Bascom acquires Stonebridge apartments

The Bascom Group LLC added another apartment community to its portfolio with the recent purchase of Stonebridge on Roswell in Sandy Springs, Ga.

Stonebridge, located at 5675 Roswell Road, is situated on 39.5 acres. The complex is comprised of 184 one-bedroom/one-bath apartments, 272 two-bedroom/two-bath apartments and 48 three-bedroom/two-bath apartments. Unit sizes range from 900 square feet to 1,649 square feet with an average of 1,173 square feet.

Sharp Lakeview Atlanta LLC sold the property, which was built in the early 1970s. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness center, executive business center, car care center, laundry facilities and leasing center.

Bascom plans to complete a modest renovation of the property that will include improvements and upgrades to the fitness center and other public amenities. Interior improvements will include upgraded carpeting, flooring, counter re-surfacing, upgraded fixtures, and new paint when units turn.
