Downtown L.A. data center signs new tenant

Net2EZ Managed Data Centers signed an 11-year lease for 20,000 square feet with Digital Realty Trust at its 600 West 7th St. facility in downtown Los Angeles.

The value of the transaction was $24.5 million.

The lease agreement includes 15,000 square feet of Turn-Key Datacenter space as well as 5,000 square feet of operations and office space. The new space will support Net2EZ's growing corporate operations and expanding technology infrastructure in Southern California.

The space is located within a 450,000-square-foot facility that features robust electrical systems, HVAC infrastructure and telecom network access, as well as advanced physical security and next-generation building automation systems.
