Real estate rates up overnight
30-year fixed rate at 6.09%; 10-year Treasury yield at 4.5%
By Inman News, Friday, August 31, 2007.Long-term mortgage interest rates were higher Thursday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield dropped to 4.5 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average rose to 6.09 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate gained to 5.76 percent. The 1-year adjustable edged up to 5.98 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield was down at 4.82 percent.
