$19 million Northwoods deal

Northwoods Apartments, a 138-unit multifamily community in San Marcos, Calif., has sold to an unidentified buyer for $19.1 million.

An Orange County, Calif.-based partnership sold the property at a price that represents $138,406 per unit.

Located at 420 Smilax Road, Northwoods Apartments consists of 10 buildings, featuring one-, two- and three-bedroom units, spread out over 12.1 acres. Amenities included a swimming pool, two spas, two laundry facilities, two tot-lots, two dog runs, a basketball court, several maintenance rooms and a leasing office.
