Office, biomedical project sells above $16 million

The Pacific Corporate Park in San Diego's Sorrento Mesa neighborhood has sold for $16.5 million.

The two-building, two-story, 66,745-square-foot office and biomedical research project is located at 5870 and 5880 Pacific Center Blvd.

BioMed Realty Trust purchased the property from The Lichter Family Trust and Satterlee Family Trust. At the time of sale, the property was 100 percent leased to Artes Medical, which recently signed a five-year lease valued at $4.7 million.
