$131 million SoCal office deal
Ventura County asset recently renovated
By Inman News, Wednesday, September 12, 2007.Real estate investment firm Kennedy Wilson acquired a 354,341-square-foot office building in Thousand Oaks, Calif., for $131 million.
Built in 1982, the building, which was extensively renovated in 2007, is situated on 43 acres. It comprises three stories of class A space.
At the time of sale, the property was 79 percent occupied and includes three major tenants: Baxter Healthcare, Verizon and HMS Capital.
Kennedy Wilson and its sponsored funds KWI Property Fund I and KW Property Fund II purchased the asset from an unidentified entity.
