Houston's Renaissance Center changes hands
Anchor tenant makes property improvement
By Inman News, Wednesday, October 10, 2007.Renaissance Center, a 100,282-square-foot shopping center in Houston, Texas, recently sold to an unidentified buyer for an undisclosed price.
A joint venture between two Houston-based community development corporations unloaded the property, which is located at 6102 Scott St. on a 9.6-acre lot.
Built in 1996, the shopping center was anchored by a 35,000-square-foot HEB Pantry at the time of sale, along with Rent-A-Center and Taco Bell. HEB Pantry recently completed construction of a new filling station pad at the site, which aims to increase store performance and traffic flow to the center.
