Virginia office building changes hands

BH Rosenberg LLC purchased an 18-story office building located in the central business district of Richmond, Va., from Wells Fargo Bank.

The transaction was valued at $8.2 million.

The 181,790-square-foot building, located at 700 East Main Street in Richmond, includes 209 covered parking spaces and has views of the State Capitol and the James River. Building amenities include U.S. Post Office, Bill's Barbecue restaurant, barber shop, day porter, building engineer and loading dock.

Thalhimer, a member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance, handled the sale negotiations and was retained for the exclusive leasing and management of the office building.
