Real estate rates end night mixed
30-year fixed rate up to 5.81%; 10-year Treasury yield at 4.2%
By Inman News, Friday, December 14, 2007.Movement in long-term mortgage interest rates varied Thursday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield climbed to 4.2 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average rose to 5.81 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate held at 5.39 percent. The 1-year adjustable rate dipped to 5.57 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield edged up to 4.64 percent.
