Nightly real estate rates shoot higher
30-year fixed rate at 6.08%; 10-year Treasury yield at 3.9%
By Inman News, Tuesday, February 26, 2008.Long-term mortgage interest rates rose sharply Monday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield was up at 3.9 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average climbed to 6.08 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate increased to 5.55 percent. The 1-year adjustable rate gained to 4.93 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield rose to 4.66 percent.
