S.F. Bay Area space sold
Four buildings total more than 200,000 square feet
By Inman News, Wednesday, February 20, 2008.NAI BT Commercial recently brokered the sale of retail, office and residential space in four separate deals in the San Francisco Bay Area for undisclosed amounts.
In the first two deals, grocer Safeway purchased the buildings they occupy in two San Francisco neighborhoods. McMorgan & Co. sold a 38,646-square-foot store at 850 La Playa and an 18,900-square-foot store at 625 Monterey Blvd. to the grocer.
In the third deal, an unidentified entity sold a 121,216-square-foot office building in Alameda to an undisclosed buyer. Abbott Laboratories occupied most of the two-story property, located at 1420 Harbor Bay Parkway, at the time of sale.
In the fourth transaction, Matt Kucich paid $6.7 million for the 106-unit Ashley Park Apartments in Stockton. Sold by Pershing Properties LLC, the property is located at 6232-6233 Pershing Road and features 86 one-bedroom/one-bath units and 20 two-bedroom/one-bath units.
