Retail center features mix of shop sizes
By Inman News, Tuesday, March 11, 2008.Brokerage Marcus & Millichap recently brokered the sale of Beaufont Center, a 314,898-square-foot shopping center in Richmond, Va.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
The Bond Cos., a Chicago-based mixed-use developer that recently opened an office in Richmond, purchased the property from GSC/Jon Perel.
Located at the intersection of Midlothian Turnpike and Chippenham Parkway, Beaufont Center is situated on a 47.2-acre lot, featuring a mix of large, midsize and small shops. The largest retail space is 169,876 square feet, which is occupied by a division UPS.
