Nightly real estate rates rise
30-year fixed rate at 5.73%; 10-year Treasury yield at 3.56%
By Inman News, Tuesday, March 25, 2008.Long-term mortgage interest rates gained sharply Monday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield grew to 3.56 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average climbed to 5.73 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate jumped to 5.22 percent. The 1-year adjustable rate rose to 5.45 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield gained to 4.37 percent.
