World Kitchen renews 1 million square feet

Matrix Development Group on Wednesday announced a 1.03 million-square-foot lease renewal for World Kitchen LLC for warehouse and industrial space in Greencastle, Pa.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

The space, located in the Matrix Business Park at 1200 South Antrim Way, is occupied solely by World Kitchen, which manufactures and markets bakeware, dinnerware, and kitchen and household tools sold under the brands CorningWare, Pyrex and Corelle.

Matrix will be making upgrades to the facility for World Kitchen, including increasing the number of trailer spaces by more than 50 percent. The building has clear ceiling heights of between 24 feet and 30 feet.
