Developer Phillips Edison & Co. today announced it has acquired its second grocery-anchored retail center in Omaha, Neb.
Neither the value of the transaction nor the seller's identity was disclosed.
The property, Deerfield Plaza, comprises 129,914 square feet and was anchored at the time of purchase by Baker's Supermarket and Walgreens.
According to Lyn Harper, acquisitions officer at Phillips Edison, the company plans to "strengthen the position of the center in the neighborhood through new leasing and minor upgrades," and may "continue to purchase more centers similar in quality and location to Deerfield."
