Call for entries: real estate book awards
Deadline for annual competition is Feb. 1, 2010
By Inman News, Thursday, December 3, 2009.The third annual Robert Bruss Real Estate Book Awards Competition is now open for entries. The National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE) invites authors of real estate books published in 2009, including finance, mortgage lending, foreclosures, investing, green building and sustainable design, homebuying and selling, and commercial real estate, to participate.
The deadline is Feb. 1 and will name gold, silver and bronze award-winners, in addition to a special award to a first-time author. The association will present the awards, with $2,000 in cash prizes, at the NAREE Real Estate Journalism Conference in Austin, Texas, in early June.
The competition was named for the late Robert Bruss, syndicated real estate columnist, prolific writer and NAREE leader. Bruss also wrote seven columns for Inman News every week.
