Stressing over distressed properties?

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Inman News, a leading independent source of real estate industry news, is hosting an informal luncheon on Thursday, April 22, for real estate professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area to discuss problems, trends and strategies with distressed properties, including preforeclosure, foreclosure and short-sale properties.

Participants will be asked to engage in the discussion, and an Inman News reporter will attend the event. Inman News managing editor Glenn Roberts Jr. will moderate the discussion. This luncheon event, the first in a series, is intended to help real estate professionals grapple with industry challenges and share market knowledge and insights with others working in their field.

Participation is limited to 10 people, who must be active in the residential real estate industry (for example: real estate agent or broker, mortgage or title professional, homebuilder, appraiser, home inspector, home stager) and requires registration via e-mail. Participants will receive a free lunch.

Send an e-mail to glenn@inman.com with the word "LUNCH" in the subject line to request a seat. The first 10 who register will receive a confirmation via e-mail. Others will be added to a priority list for future luncheon events.

This first event will be held at the Inman News office, in Alameda, Calif., from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on April 22. Inman News will provide more details about the event to confirmed attendees.
