Ashley has worked in senior online management roles for the last ten years, the last four of which has been in real estate. After various online publishing roles at former FTSE 100 company, Emap, he moved onto launch Homesoverseas.co.uk with Blendon Communications in 2005.

In early 2007, seeing an opportunity in the market, he left the company to start on his own consultancy and real estate media business, Global Edge Marketing Ltd.

The media business, Globaledge.co.uk launched in December 2007 as a marketing portal for international real estate agents.Throughout 2008, through a combination of breaking exclusive news and providing insightful marketing analysis, he built a large audience of internationally focused property professionals.

In November, Globaledge.co.uk was re-launched as a business networking platform for international real estate. The site attracts over 30 000 monthly unique users and has over 3500 active members, mainly from internationally focused European realtors.

Ashley is a regular speaker at UK conferences. This is his first speaking engagement in the US.
