Mike Mangino

Owner & President, Elevated Rails

Since obtaining his BS in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University, Mike has held a variety of positions in both large and small companies. Currently, Mike is the owner of Elevated Rails, a web and iPhone development studio.

After living through the .com highs and lows, Mike decided it was time to better understand the world of the startup. In 2004, he earned his MBA through the part time program at the Fisher College of Business where was was recognized by the faculty for academic excellence. More recently, he has been a featured speaker at RailsConf, The Rails Edge and Ruby East.

When not running Elevated Rails, Mike can often be found running with Back on My Feet. He has run three marathons and hopes to eventually qualify for Boston. He is currently training for his first ultra marathon. Mike lives in Philadelphia with his wife Jen and their two dogs. Together they enjoy cooking and Ohio State athletics.
