Re: 'Economic think tank bets housing market will crash' (Jan. 19)
Dear Editor:
There is no housing bubble because we say so!
It's a very good thing we are correct in this matter.
If we were wrong there would be a dramatic decrease in home values. We would witness a huge drop off in mortgage refinancing and new home purchases. There would be a slowing of the economy, resulting in many upsets in upcoming elections.
We are your elected representatives, business leaders, mortgage bankers and Realtors, and we say there is no housing bubble!
You must believe us.

Re: 'Lock up those letters' (Jan. 21)
Dear Editor:
One can go to Scotty's or Home Depot and buy a mailbox, which the mailperson puts the mail into, and the owner can retrieve it at a lower level with a key!
Much cheaper!

Re: 'Don't leave your towel rack hanging' (Jan. 21)
Dear Editor:
I fixed this problem before it started by installing a length of oak to which I had the edges routed to a decorative finish (to match the bathroom cabinets) and then screwed it into the studs. Then I installed the towel rack onto this piece of oak. By doing this you screw the towel rack into wood, not the drywall.
