Re: 'Web 2.0: Where's the beef?' (Dec. 13)

As usual, Marcie looks objectively at a subject and asks questions.

These are good questions. For a real estate agent, however, if the greater proportion of those on Web 2.0 are in their 20s and 30s, then maybe it's not so bad a plan to be there opining on real estate topics. The largest percentage of buyers is in their 30s, and it's not surprising they are the ones using the Internet to do much of their research. Why wouldn't blogging be a logical place for a real estate agent to be working? Perhaps the cost might be the real question, not only monetarily, but in time.

This too will shake out.

Re: 'Redfin offers seven tips for sellers' (Dec. 14)

Dear Editor:

So does Redfin have in its analysis just WHEN the foreclosed properties are likely to "disappear" from the market? Its advice is nothing new.

Every "street" Realtor/licensee knows the value of pricing property in today's market.
