The 'emperor has no clothes'

Re: 'Panel: Little optimism for 2009' (Jan. 8)

Dear Editor:

Kudos to your realistic and informative article. It's not easy listening to all of the bad news, but I would rather hear the "emperor has no clothes" than go on pretending that this market is going to correct anytime soon. Agents in this market had better take heed and be prepared for our industry to morph as this economy finds its leveling point. We all need to learn how to conduct business in this new environment.
