When a legal right is still wrong
Letter to the Editor
By Inman News, Wednesday, August 26, 2009.Re: 'Investors defaulting to make money' (Aug. 24)
Dear Editor:
This article describes the same moral framework that allowed subprime mortgage brokers to continue to push subprime adjustable-rate-mortgage loans upon the unsuspecting public.
Just because the law allows it, does not make it right nor should it be allowed.

What ever happened to fiscal and moral responsibility?. Teaching and having instilled in one self that you pay for what you buy. My property is not worth what I purchase it for, but I have every intention of paying my note and be a responsible borrower.
Articles like these are why this country is headed down. So many people today take no responsibility for their actions. There was a time when honor, pride, patriotism, respect and a whole host of other ethical and moral standards existed.
Our society is truly broken and articles like this make it evident.
