Agents: Give clients freedom of choice
Letter to the Editor
By Inman News, Friday, April 16, 2010.Re: 'Who finds homes: agents or clients?' (April 16)
Dear Editor:
Bravo! Agents are still edgy about letting their clients choose the properties to see, but with counseling about the location and some agent input, it's the now way to show properties.
Furthermore, when people arrive in a city, they still want to drive the neighborhood and sometimes they don't want to do it with the agent.
The key is to bond with them before they browse. Show them you know they want this to be their choice. Give them the information and input that makes you invaluable to their hunt and they will be loyal throughout their search. Careful. Loyalty is earned.
