Agents, meet prospects in safe location

Dear Editor:

Thank you for sharing this tragic but true story. Now, more than ever, it is so very important for Realtors to really qualify the people who they are meeting at these vacant homes. If they are not willing to meet you at the office first, perhaps they are not someone who you should be meeting.

Understanding and articulating our value proposition to these prospective buyers and meeting them in a neutral, safe location first is always the safest way to go. My condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.
