Re: 'Why do you work in real estate?' (Dec. 9)

Dear Editor:

The question has a very simple answer that everyone misses by getting blinded with dollar signs.

I work in real estate to help people. That is a fact. The passion part gets answered when you think about who you are helping -- in my case it is my community in Harlem.

The money is a result of hard work, and that applies to every job or occupation in life. Once you find passion, then getting up in the morning is a joy!

And that is WHY I work in real estate.
