London-based Onefinestay is rolling out its service in Los Angeles that takes the “sharing economy” home vacation rental services Airbnb and HomeAway one step further — curating insider “to do” suggestions from the actual homeowners. The company curates a selection of homes to rent out to vacationers or short-term visitors, which start at $250 per night. The company cleans and markets the home and screens visitors.
Homeowners share insights with their guest through notes and a loaded iPhone the guests receive upon arrival of things to do that only a local would know — the best bike routes, yoga studio or massage therapists in the area.
