Chris Christie told her that her city was more likely to get Superstorm Sandy relief funds if she supported a commercial redevelopment plan by the Rockefeller Group for a three-block stretch of north Hoboken that included a 40-story office tower.
The Rockefeller Group employed former Christie cabinet officer Lori Grifa as a lobbyist for the project, and the company’s firm is Wolff & Samson, co-founded by Port Authority Chairman David Samson, the New York Daily News’ Larry McShane reports.
