Facebook, Twitter could have hired WhatsApp co-founder

When WhatsApp co-founder Brian Acton was looking for a job with both Facebook and Twitter in 2009, he was rejected by both companies, according to Twitter messages he posted at the time. So, he started the Internet-based phone messaging service WhatsApp with a fellow Yahoo alum and sold it yesterday to Facebook for $19 billion.
